The dacoit drama is set in the Chambal in Madhya Pradesh against the backdrop of the Emergency in 1975-77, when the government has ordered a crackdown, where the rebels are – Lakhan (Sushant Singh Rajput), Man Singh (Manoj Bajpayee), Vakil Singh (Ranvir Shorey), Indumati (Bhumi Pednekar), and the police officer chasing them is Gujjar (Ashutosh Rana). MENTAL HAI KYA
Director: Prakash Kovelamudi
A comedy thriller which marks the debut of the Telugu filmmaker (and husband of in-vogue screenwriter Kanika Dhillon) in Hindi cinema, the film gears from India to London following a cat and mouse chase between Rajkummar Rao and Kangana Ranaut. The trailer has not been released.

DELHI CRIME STORY
Director: Richie Mehta
For the couch surfers amongst us, and otherwise, Richie Mehta’s Sundance premiering web series Delhi Crime Story releases on Netflix on March 22. They have not released a trailer yet either but if the reviews are anything to go by, it should definitely be on your watchlist.
Based on the 2012 rape case in Delhi that shocked the world, the series centers on the heroic actions of the Delhi police. With the eyes of the world upon it, the investigation is led by one passionate female officer (Shefali Shah) who was driven to find the perpetrators by the crime’s extreme brutality.

Also releasing in March are the films, Luka Chuppi (8th), Milan Talkies & Mere Pyare Prime Minister & De De Pyaar De (15th), Kesari (21st), Notebook (29th). Hamid was due to be in theatres on March 1 but in light of recent events, the makers have stalled the release.
For the Academy Awards fans, the film with Olivia Colman’s 2019 Oscar winning performance, The Favourite, releases on March 1.
For the Marvel fans, the much awaited Captain Marvel with Brie Larson releases on March 8.
And for the horror fans, Jordan Peele’s Us releases on March 29.
