The story of Mukku, Mansoor and Monsoon… where a Muslim pithoo saves a Hindu tourist from the Uttarakhand floods at the Kedarnath pilgrimage, and the love that follows.
Featuring Sushant Singh Rajput, Sara Ali Khan, Nitish Bharadwaj, Alka Amin, Sonali Sachdev, Pooja Gor and Nishant Dahiya, the film is directed by Abhishek Kapoor, best known for Rock On and Kai Po Che. The film is co-written by Manmarziyaan writer Kanika Dhillon.
The film about a love story that weathers a few storms may also have gone through a few storms during its production. Its final credited producers are Ronnie Screwvala & Pragya Kapoor (wife of the director).
Kedarnath is releasing on December 7, with her next film Simmba, with Ranveer Singh, releasing in the same month on December 28.
