The official teaser of Mirzapur, Amazon Prime’s next Indian series was released today.

A gun manufacturing factory pretending to make carpets, the voice of Pankaj Tripathi as Kaleen Bhaiya and the statement “In this business, either you are on our side, or you are against us.”, teases us into the world of Mirzapur. A gangster saga based in Banaras, it also features Shweta Tripathi, Rasika Dugal, Vikrant Massey and Ali Fazal in key roles.

Created by Karan Anshuman and Puneet Krishna, Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar serve as executive producers. All four were behind the first Indian Amazon Prime original series, Inside Edge. Inside Edge is nominated for an International Emmy and currently in production for Season 2.

Mirzapur, an Excel Entertainment series, has been directed by Gurmmeet Singh.
The official trailer will be out on October 23. Amazon has not announced a release date for the series yet, but it should be in fall 2018.
