Directed by Rishi Chandna, Tungrus won the Documentary Short Grand Jury Prize at the 25th Slamdance Film Festival. The first independent short film by Chandna, it has been very well received across the world having played at Visions Du Reel, BFI London Film Festival, Melbourne Film Festival, HotDocs and IDFA. In a cramped apartment in Mumbai, a family considers eating their hell-raising pet rooster, so that they can reclaim their lives. Cat Sticks received an honourable mention in the Narrative Feature category wherein Dollhouse by Nicole Brending won the Grand Jury Prize. Co-scripted by Ronny Sen and Soumyak Kanti DeBiswas, the film themed on drug addiction was the only Indian film selected in the Narrative Feature Competition category at Slamdance Film Festival 2019.
