The trailer of Notebook, by Filmistaan director Nitin Kakkar is here, and it shows love is more beautiful in Kashmir.

Is it possible to fall in love with someone you have never met before? More specifically, they don’t know you exist. Notebook seems to say that’s possible. Kabir falls in love with Firdaus, who’s the teacher he has replaced at a tiny school with seven children in a scenic part of Kashmir, through a Notebook of hers that is all that remains at the school… well, other than her omnipresence.
Introducing Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Behl, the film is a launch vehicle created for the two by Salman Khan. It is an adaptation of the Thai film The Teacher’s Diary, but we are not sure if it is an official adaptation.
With the direction by Nitin Kakkar, whose 2012 independent film Filmistaan became a cult film and won him the National Award, awards at Busan Film Festival, Kerala Film Festival and a nomination at Filmfare Awards, the trailer looks promising and reminds you of all the beauty of Kashmir, and why love always looks more beautiful there. The film is scheduled to release on 29 March 2019.
