The trailer of Hotstar Special Criminal Justice is here. Pankaj Tripathi and Vikrant Massey are back with another web series.

The Indian adaptation of the first season of the 2008 hit BBC British series featuring Ben Whishaw as the murder accused, Criminal Justice is here.
 
Featuring Vikrant Massey as Aditya, whose late night encounter/ one night stand with an attractive stranger turns into a nightmare, when he wakes up in her home with blood on his hands and her dead. Aditya insists he is innocent. Pankaj Tripathi plays the part of his lawyer with unconventional means, Jackie Shroff plays his father in the series, while Anupriya Goenka and Mita Vashisht are in as investigators.
But is he really stupid or smarter than all? Is he guilty? Or not? Watch the trailer to take your guess.

Directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and Vishal Furia, the series is co-produced by Applause Entertainment (Aditya Birla Group) and BBC Studios India. Releasing on Hotstar on April 5, Criminal Justice is a part of the Hotstar Specials slate. And it is going to be available in seven languages, in line with Hotstar’s commitment to have an offering for all regions.
 
Applause Entertainment and Hotstar have three more shows in the offing. These include –  
1. An adaptation of the cult comedy The Office, helmed by Rohan Sippy & Debbie Rao and Vivek Bhushan.
2. An adaptation of the Israeli TV series Hostages (also adapted in America) directed by Sudhir Mishra featuring Ronit Roy, Tisca Chopra and Parvin Dabas.
3. A political drama, set in Mumbai, City Of Dreams, which is directed by Nagesh Kukunoor with a cast of Atul Kulkarni, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Eijaz Khan, Priya Bapat and Siddharth Chandekar.
