The trailer of Game Over directed by Ashwin Saravanan and co-written with the medical practitioner Kaavya Ramkumar has been launched today. The film follows the story of Swapna, a game designer, who is suffering from Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and is on a turbulent road to recovery from an incident that scarred her deeply a year ago. Still getting therapy, she finds herself in the hands of an evil force that has been committing crimes of unspeakable evil in the city. On a fateful night, Swapna has to contend with the dark forces outside and within. The video game designer might be playing the most important game with life at stake, which is why it seems to be aptly titled as Game Over. What happens next? Watch the trailer here.

The trailer doesn’t give us much but does show a protagonist in Taapsee Pannu who was in a wheelchair, and not, a home invasion, and one coping with past trauma. Timelines are blurred as the trailer shifts to the chilling tales of a killer on the loose, who targets young women. Along with all of that, the trailer ends with scenes in the dark with an armed killer approaching Taapsee, who’s fallen off her wheelchair.
