The trailer of Ellen DeGeneres’ first stand-up special in 15 years! It’s ‘Relatable’. And special.

One of the most loved woman on earth and the rare glimpse of her back in standup comedy is coming to us courtesy Netflix. Yes, Ellen DeGeneres and Netflix bring to us a limited series, Relatable.

The special was filmed on the comedian’s first stand-up tour in 15 years and follows her limited-run jaunt, An Evening With Ellen DeGeneres, that took place in August 2018. The tour visited San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle over the span of eight nights, while the special was taped in Seattle at Benaroya Hall during her eight-show run in August.

Her last stand-up special was Ellen DeGeneres: Here and Now, aired on HBO in 2003. DeGeneres got her start in stand-up in the eighties, first working clubs in her hometown of New Orleans before hitting the road as a touring comedian. Finding fame on TV with the show Ellen, when she came out, she couldn’t get back on TV for three years, until 2001. And look at her now.
