The trailer of Chhichhore with Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor reminds you that true friends are best made in your younger years.

The director of Dangal, Nitesh Tiwari, is back with his next film. And if the trailer is to go by, it looks quite appealing. Some of us older ones, we reminisce our school and college years with great fondness, and the friends we made then. ​The trailer has been released on Friendship’s Day in the​ celebration​ of that friendship​.

Chichhore is a story of a group of college hostel friends and how they conquer everything life throws at them during college life, and again much later due to a terrible accident, through friendship, love and laughter. The gang consists of Sushant Singh Rajput as the good boy Anni, Shraddha Kapoor as the hot girl Maya, Varun Sharma as the class clown Sexa, Tahir Raj Bhasin as the sportsman Derek, Naveen Polishetty as Acid, Tushar Pandey as Mummy, Saharsh Kumar Shukla as Bevda and the antagonist in Prateik Babbar as Raggie. The film has been co-written by Nitesh Tiwari with Nikhil Mehrotra and Piyush Gupta. Nitesh Tiwari notable films apart from Dangal include Chillar Party and Bhoothnath Returns. He has also worked on Kill Dil, Nil Battey Sannata and Bareilly Ki Barfi as a dialogue, screenplay and story writer. He is apparently making Ramayana next with Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone.

Rajput was last seen in Sonchiriya, while Kapoor is gearing up for the release of her first Telugu language film Saaho, alongside Prabhas.

Chhichore has been produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and presented & co-produced by Fox Star Studios. Chhichore is set to release on 6 September 2019.
