The first trailer of the Vicky Kaushal starrer Bhoot: The Haunted Ship has been unveiled today.
In the trailer of the horror film, we are informed that a dead ship called Sea Bird has been found anchored at Mumbai’s Juhu beach on a stormy evening. Sumit Desai (Vicky Kaushal), a surveying officer, is assigned the job of investigating. The amusingly brave officer enters the ship, alone, armed with a torch. Sumit is seen inspecting the desolate ship oblivious to the ghost of a young girl that crawls over walls in the background. As he tries to unravel the mystery, the horrors of the haunting come to light. And the ghosts start to haunt him. But will he be able to fight to not be haunted anymore? The cast is rounded off with Bhumi Pednekar as Esha Mukherjee, Ashutosh Rana as Kaashinath Mukherjee and Siddhanth Kapoor as Rahul Singh. The film is written and directed by debut filmmaker Bhanu Pratap Singh. He was the assistant director of Cocktail (2012) and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014).
The film’s teaser had been shared earlier on 31 January 2020.
Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Shashank Khaitan and Karan, the film was originally meant to release on 15 November 2019. But the release was moved to accommodate Ayushmann Khurrana’s Bala. Bhoot: The Haunted Ship is slated to release on 21 February 2020.
