SXSW ​2019 ​announced part of its lineup and ​the competition has great Indian representation, including Sacred Games.

The SXSW Film Festival​ is a ‘cool’ film festival​ that runs simultaneously with SXSW Interactive and SXSW Music, ​giving all the opportunity to connect with tech and music industry experts, making ​it a unique experience​. It ​will run from 7 – 19 March in Austin, Texas​ and has more than a few entries from India in competition.​​
In the Title Design Competition, two Indian web series’ title sequences are in competing amongst 30 nominees.  Interestingly, both of these are by the company Plexus Motion.

In the Music Video Competition, we have one competitor. The music video for Wild by New Delhi based indie musician Dhruv Visvanath is directed by Tanvi Gandhi, a musician turned filmmaker.
In the Virtual Cinema Competition, we have two entries out of with strong Indian connections.
The​ ​experimental documentary Home After War co-directed by Mumbai lady Gayatri Parameswaran and Felix Gaedke. The 2018 Berlin Film Festival collection is a part of the Oculus VR for Good Creators Lab program. Watch the trailer here.
Sadah Espii Proctor​,​ the Brooklyn, New York​ based filmmaker presents Girl Icon, an experimental documentary film about Rani. The girl child from a family relegated to washing clothes because of caste in Varanasi determined to get an education​.
