Netflix has released the first look named the Cast Reveal of the Season 2 of Sacred Games. The cat and mouse games between Sartaj and Gaitonde continues. And the 26-second teaser introduces the main cast with Saif Ali Khan as Sartaj Singh, Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Ganesh Gaitonde, Pankaj Tripathi as Guruji, with Kalki Koechlin and Ranvir Shorey joining them as Batya and Shahid Khan respectively. Season 1 of Sacred Games had two directors, with Anurag Kashyap directing the old timeline, especially Ganesh Gaitonde’s track, and Vikramaditya Motwane directing the current timeline, seen as Sartaj Singh’s track. While Kashyap continues, Neeraj Ghaywan takes over from Motwane is Season 2. Motwane continues to be the showrunner, whereas Varun Grover continues as lead writer.
Actor Jatin Sarna, who developed a cult following as volatile hitman Bunty, will also be back in Season 2 via flashback, although his character was killed in the first season.
