The winner at the 2018 National Film Awards for the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Film on National Integration, the trailer of Dhappa is here. A group of children residing in an urban housing society are made aware of what is proper religious way of celebrating Ganpati Festival, and what is not. But what the management doesn’t expect is how they react.
Directed by Nipun Dharmadhikari, who is the co-writer of the recent Eros Now series Side Hero and 2014 film Nautanki Saala, it is written by Girish Pandurang Kulkarni. The Marathi film is produced by Sumatilal Shah and co-produced by Girish Pandurang Kulkarni and Umesh Vinayak Kulkarni. Dhappa releases on 1 February, 2019.
