Hush Hush, My child. Watch the trailer of this film on child sexual abuse in India. #MeToo #TimesUp

Hush Hush is a documentary that shares the stories of child sexual abuse survivors in India and looks into the misconceptions of the society on the issue.

The #MeToo and #TimesUp Movement in India is finally here. While that’s great, it has also left a lot of us with a lot to cope and address. As we face the issue head on, the trailer of the documentary Hush Hush is a must watch to understand what survivors go through. It showcases some of the survivors talk about their experience.

This the first documentary directed & produced by Farzana Gafoor, a filmmaker based in London, who has previously directed commercials and corporate videos, and fiction on social issues. The director of photography is Porselvan Deva, and the music has been composed by Mithun Mohan. Bola, which is a support group in India for adult survivors founded by Foram Chandrika Mehta and Rucha Satoor, have been thanked too for their contribution. We do hope the documentary has a timely release.
