What does Tumbbad mean? It is the name of the very rainy village in which the story unfolds.
Based on the works of Marathi horror writer, Narayan Dharap, it features producer Sohum Shah in the protagonist’s role. The Indian ghoulish Panchatantra fable, is a horror film set in 1920s British Raj Pune on three generations of a Hindu upper caste family… where greed grows with generations.
