Exclusive: The official international trailer of Cannes winning Indian film SIR is here.

Sir by Rohena Gera has been making waves on the world stage all of this year. Winner at Cannes Film Festival 2018, it has been traveling to film festivals across the world and has been commercially released in Netherlands, with Germany and France is next. It also plays at AFI Fest on November 9 and 13. 
Directed by Rohena Gera whose last outing was a documentary also about love, it features Tillotama Shome and Court producer-actor Vivek Gomber in pivotal roles. 
Ratna, works as a maid servant for Ashwin, the wealthy son of a builder and her boss. They come from opposite sides of the world and perspective. She is full of hope with nothing, and he’s lost his dreams while seeming to have it all. An unlikely romance comes to fore as worlds collide and people connect. Watch the trailer here.
Sir had its world premiere at Cannes Film Festival 2018 in the Critics Week | Semaine De La Critique section to rave reviews. Peter Bradshaw of The Guardian said  “A delicately observed and attractive drama with some great Mumbai cityscapes and an excellent performance from Tillotama Shome.” It won the GAN Foundation award at Cannes Film Festival, with €20,000 ($27,000) for Diaphana, the French distributor to help distribute in France.
