Frozen is a 2013 American animated musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale The Snow Queen. It ranks as the highest-grossing animated film of all time. And now Disney is releasing the sequel to it.
Frozen saw Elsa with magical powers and her journey to understand how to control them. Why was Elsa born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom. In the trailer, you see Elsa battling the ocean and Pabbie (Ciarán Hinds), the troll who helped Elsa in the first film, letting her know she needs to revisit her past to understand why she was given magical powers.
Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she’ll set out on a dangerous search to the enchanted land and into the unknown. The highly anticipated follow up to the 2013 Disney hit looks much darker. Watch the trailer here.
From the Academy Award® winning team – directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, producer Peter Del Vecho and songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, Frozen 2 sees the return of Elsa (Idina Menzel), Anna (Kristen Bell), Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and Olaf (Josh Gad).
