What happens to a co-star when a star kid is launched? As per this funny piece of promo, in the now nefarious nepotism driven film industry, the title, the poster and the promotions are about him, him, and him.
Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota is a martial arts action film / love letter to Bollywood and Matunga, about a young man (Abhimanyu Dassani) quite literally born with the ability to feel no pain strikes out on a quest to vanquish 100 foes (including Gulshan Devaiah).
And other than the title itself, due to the subject, the film posters of course only feature the male lead they are launching, Abhimanyu Dassani, son of Bhagyashree, the actress of cult film Maine Pyar Kiya).
So the film has decided to take a dig at itself, in good humour of course. The actress of Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota, Radhika Madan, came to limelight with her hit television series Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi winning numerous awards, made her film debut in none other than the acclaimed director Vishal Bhardwaj’s film Patakha, and has over 1.6 million followers on Instagram. And when you watch this promotional video, you will be more than assured, she is not and cannot be a prop. The height of that kick at 1:05 is quite amazing too!
P.S. This is the funniest thing you will watch today.
