Ayushmann Khurrana’s never fails to impress all out there with his choices. And his latest choice in the film Bala looks interesting too.
The teaser shows a young man on a bike lip-syncing to Shah Rukh Khan’s hit song Koi Na Koi Chahiye Pyaar Karne Wala. But when his cap flies off mid-serenade, reality bites back as he’s reminded of his receding hairline. The despondent man breaks into another serenade with the Rajesh Khanna hit song Yeh Joh Mohabbat Hai focusing on the lines Rehne Do Chhodo Bhi Jaane Do Yaar, Hum Na Karenge Pyaar, lamenting his fate and hopes for love. The film revolving around a man coping with premature baldness reunites Khurrana with both Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar. Other cast members include Saurabh Shukla, Abhishek Banerjee, Javed Jaffrey and Seema Pahwa. The Maddock Studios and Jio Studios production is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Bala has been written by Niren Bhatt and directed by Amar Kaushik of Stree.
