Marvel has released its last and final trailer ten days before the release of the film Avengers Endgame. And it is nostalgia incorporated. The franchise with a mix of individual and ensemble superhero movies, has been eleven years in the making, with a culmination of twenty-one movies.
It is definitely the Endgame, and the trailer, which really seems like a tribute to the universe of its characters, and to the legend Stan Lee who created many of them, who recently passed away.
Starting with Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man in 2008, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has grown to include Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), Spider Man (Tom Holland), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), the Guardians of the Galaxy and more. If you remember, the Original Six Avengers were Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, and Hawkeye. The trailer reminds us that while it may have become an old fashioned notion, we all need heroes. Watch now.
Avengers Endgame releases on 26 April 2019 in most of the world and 2-3 days earlier in some parts of Europe.
