Adil Hussain starrer What Will People Say picks up another award!

What Will People Say has done very well since its world premiere at Toronto International Film Festival 2017 where it was a nominee, and the winner of the Audience Award at AFI Fest 2017. And it has now won the Youth Jury Award at Palm Springs International Film Festival 2019. 

The Norwegian film directed by Iram Haq was shot in Norway and India, the second feature film by Iram Haq features Maria Mozhdah, Adil Hussain, Rohit Saraf and Ekavali Khanna.

Nisha’s double life — obedient to her traditional Pakistani upbringing at home, typical Norwegian teenager to her friends — comes crashing down when her concerned father, egged on by his wife and the rest of their social circle, kidnaps the daughter and sends her to Pakistan to tame her.
But… Children need more listening than being told what to do.

The runaway box office success in Norway, winner of four Amanda Awards and was its entry to Oscars 2019 though it didn’t secure a nomination.
