When a roadside brawl leads to the public relations manager’s phone being stolen, Meghna’s life turns upside down. As she attempts to retrieve her cellphone from a man being followed by a CID officer, there is an actor’s career at stake courtesy an embarrassing video on it, and we are not clear why, but a hitman, a jailed politician/ goon and a witness to a crime are also added to the mix.
Written and produced by Michael E Ward, and directed by Pia Sukanya, the film features an eclectic cast in Radhika Apte, Amit Sial, Adil Hussain, Siddhanth Kapoor, Ravi Kishan, Shilpa Shukla and Akshay Oberoi. Bombairiya is slated to release on January 11, 2019.
