Saaho has had more than a few people excited. And the makers have finally launched the official trailer today of the high octane action film.The trailer shows Prabhas as an undercover agent on a mission to uncover the truth behind people who have committed Rs 2000 crore robbery, wherein Shraddha Kapoor joins him as Amritha Nair, a crime branch officer. Amidst this, a few antagonists are in search of a ‘Black Box’ to open a locker, which has a billion dollars.
With a huge ensemble cast in Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Vennela Kishore, Murli Sharma, Arun Vijay, Prakash Belavadi, Evelyn Sharma, Supreeth, Lal, Chunky Pandey, Mandira Bedi, Mahesh Manjrekar, and Tinu Anand. The multilingual action film found its action director in Kenny Bates, of films like Transformers, Mission Impossible, Rush Hour and Armageddon. Peng Zhang, Dhilip Subbarayan, Stunt Silva, Stefan, Bob Brown and Ram – Lakshman have also served as action directors on the film.
Written and directed by Sujeeth, who made his debut with Run Raja Run in 2014, the film has been made and will release in four languages – Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi. It marks the Shraddha Kapoor’s debut in Telugu film and Prabhas’ debut Hindi/ Bollywood film. While T-Series presents the Hindi version, UV Creations is releasing the other three.
The trailer comes really close to the official release date of the film, which is this Independence Day, on 15 August 2019. The teaser of Saaho was released two months ago.
