In 1958 New York, Midge Maisel’s life was on track as a housewife with a rich husband, kids, and elegant Yom Kippur dinners in their Upper West Side apartment. But when it took a surprise turn, she turned to being a standup comic.
Season 2 picks up with Midge still pursuing a standup career after a fallout with a big comedy legend in Season 1, making her climb up the comedy ladder more challenging than ever. She continues to work through a position at the department store, and hasn’t yet told her family about her night time gig. Will they come to terms with what she does? And will she actually be able to become a successful comedian?
