The runaway box office success in Norway, winner of four Amanda Awards and its entry to Oscars 2019, WHAT WILL PEOPLE SAY is now on Netflix India. Shot in Norway and India, the second feature film by Iram Haq features Maria Mozhdah, Adil Hussain, Rohit Saraf and Ekavali Khanna. And Adil Hussain won the Amanda Award for essaying the role of the father, Norway’s equivalent to the Indian National Film Awards.

Nisha’s double life — obedient to her traditional Pakistani upbringing at home, typical Norwegian teenager to her friends — comes crashing down when her concerned father, egged on by his wife and the rest of their social circle, kidnaps the daughter and sends her to Pakistan to tame her.
But… Children need more listening than being told what to do.

The film premiered at Toronto International Film Festival 2017 where it was a nominee, and the winner of the Audience Award at AFI Fest 2017.
