The first look trailer of Line of Descent is here and it is intriguing. The story is set against the backdrop of an established Delhi mafia family after the death of their patriarch. The three brothers war with each other over the future of their criminal enterprise, while an American arms dealer tries to use it to his advantage and an undercover officer fights his demons by assisting in their downfall. But who comes out on top in the end?
The lead cast includes Brendan Fraser, Abhay Deol, Ronit Roy, Neeraj Kabi, Prem Chopra, and Vinesh Chachra. Watch the trailer here.
Line of Descent is Rohit Karn Batra’s debut feature film. His debut short film Roundabout won at Palm Springs Film Festival 2010. He also received a nomination at the 43rd Daytime Emmy Awards, as a co-producer from Jonas and Co. on Malala Fund in the Outstanding Special Class - Short Format Daytime Program category.
The first trailer was released on Sunday, 10 February at the European Film Market at the 69th Berlin Film Festival, which runs from 7 - 17 February 2019. Storyboard Media is representing the film for world sales on the project. The Hindi and English-language film is produced by Guy J.
