Co-scripted by Ronny Sen and Soumyak Kanti DeBiswas, the film Cat Sticks ​is the only Indian film selected in the Narrative Feature Competition category at Slamdance Film Festival 2019.
The film begins with three young characters – Pablo, Ronnie and Deshik, who make their way through an industrial wasteland and take shelter in an abandoned aircraft on a rainy night as they look for their next fix. But soon, it brings together disparate people from various parts of the city, all linked by their addiction.​ Watch the trailer here.​
The ensemble cast includes Tanmay Dhanania, Sumeet Thakur, Joyraj Bhattacharjee, Rahul Dutta, Saurabh Saraswat, Sreejita Mitra, Raja Chakravorty and Kalpan Mitra.​ ​Learn more about the film here.​

Cast: The Bharde Family
In a cramped apartment in Mumbai, a family considers eating their hell-raising pet rooster, so that they can reclaim their lives.
The first independent short film by Chandna, it has been very well received across the world having played at Visions Du Reel, BFI London Film Festival, Melbourne Film Festival, HotDocs and IDFA. Having been featured on New York Times as an Op-Doc (opinion documentary), watch the short film here.

In the Anarchy section,
Ykcowrebbaj (Austria, Germany, India)
Director: Helen Hideko
Cast: Kumaresan, Bharati Kapadia, Sravasti Banerjee
Once upon a time, Alice came across a curious Looking-glass poem called, “Jabberwocky” (1871) from the book “Through the Looking-glass, and What Alice Found There”  in a language she didn’t know. Now, follow the little green bird into this looking-glass world and see a mesmerising version of the poem that Alice read there. Watch the trailer here.
The fantasy horror film Ykcowrebbaj, which is ‘Jabberwocky’ written in reverse. This experimental short is making its festival debut at Slamdance film festival!
