The makers of Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan have released an animated promotional video of the film, revealing the full cast along with the one audiences have been curious about most, Ayushmann Khurrana’s love interest in the film.
Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is supposed to be about same-sex love. So while Ayushmann Khurrana maybe some people’s Dream Girl right now, but he is also ready to romance his dream boy in this film. And that is going to be the actor Jitendra Kumar, a regular actor in many TVF web series, known most for TVF Pitchers. The ensemble cast sees Khurrana’s Badhaai Ho co-actors Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta join him, but as the family of Jitendra Kumar. Watch the promotional video here.
Jitendra Kumar plays the role of Aman Tripathi, and Rao and Gupta play Shankar and Sunaina Tripathi. Ayushmann Khurrana essays the role of Kartik Singh. The rest of the cast is rounded up by Manurishi Chaddha, Sunita Rajwar, Maanvi Gagroo, Pankhuri Awasthy and Neeraj Singh.
Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is the sequel written and directed by Hitesh Kewalya, who was the co-writer of the 2017 film Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. It is produced by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma for Colour Yellow Productions and T-Series. The teaser reveals the release date of the film to be 13 March 2020, unlike the original plan to release it on Valentine’s Day.
